Title: Limitless Escape

We chose this title because we want people to know that the are endless ways for you to go on vacation and still have a good time no matter where you go.

 

Cover:

Main Image: For the main image, it will be a picture of a lady at the beach and it will be in a glossy form.

Typography/Font: The title will be in “Modern Love Caps”, size 72 and will be an orange color to complement the kayaks. The text for other headings will be in “cavolini”. The main heading/article will be size 18 and turquoise and for other writing and articles, it will be white and size 12 font.

Masthead: Limitless Escape

Selling Line: “Escape from Reality”

We chose this selling line because some times we need to go on vacation and just escape from reality. Life can get rough and some times we just need to escape everything happening. 

 

Feature Article:

Title: Safest Ways to Travel During Covid-19

Content: This article will provide the safest options to travel with Covid-19 whether it’s on a plane or other transportation. It will show ways to stay safe, healthy and sanitary. I will recommend to get covid tested before you leave for your destination. I will have about two interviews to see how certain travelers recommend to stay safe.

Image Ideas: The images will be of different products and transportation.

Content Page

Styling: There will be one main image in the middle with the text surrounding it. The text will be “cavolini”,size 12 when not bolded, but size 16 when bolded(for headline). This page will be simple but bright in color.

Title Ideas: “Create Your Journey”

We chose "Create Your Journey" because we want people to be able to decide everything about their vacation and everything they want to do.

Title Sequence Clip Review

I have not really thought about the opening sequence of the films and their role even though I have watched so many movies. Now that I watched the beginning clips of certain movies, I realized that sometimes those beginning clips can make or break the beginning of the movie. I also never payed much attention to the songs or audio that were at the start of the movie or the fonts of the credits, but when I noticed them, I can see how it refers to what the movie is about. For example, in the movie "Scream," the opening scene includes the title of the movie in creepy, red lettering with screams in the background which right away gives the impression that this will be a scary movie. To Team or Not to Team

I have  made a decision  on  whether or not  I want to work independently or with a team on the AICE Media Studies portfolio this year. I have decided to work with a partner, Katie, because both of us do better when we are in groups. Magazine Cover Review

                                                                   I don't really read magazines, but certain magazines catch my eye when I walk by them. I also never realized that magazines and certain magazine brands are targeted toward a specific audience. Magazines put certain images, text, and people on the cover that will attract a potential reader. For example, on the "Cosmopolitan" magazine, the typography is mostly bold, pink font, with words such as "SEXY" and "style" on it. Cosmopolitans target audience is mostly women. Women will see this and be drawn in and they will want to see what the magazine is about. When magazines have bold, colorful fonts, celebrities as the main image, and coverlines that have to do with current events, they are more likely to draw in more readers.
